Asian Indian Culture in Latin America: Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, etc. INVITATION TO OUR 146th ICC ZOOM PUBLIC MEETING

The culture and identity of Asian India have a notable presence in some Latin American countries. In countries such as Peru, Chile and Argentina, there are significant populations of Indian immigrants and their descendants who have maintained their culture and traditions over generations. These communities are known for their distinctive cuisine, such as curry and chutney, and for their traditional music and dances, such as bhangra and garba. Additionally, many of them have been able to establish successful businesses in sectors such as technology and medicine, contributing to the region's economic growth. Despite cultural and linguistic differences, these communities have found ways to integrate and contribute to the diversity of these mainly Spanish-speaking countries.
